Question 1:
The Block Paving on the driveway and side path of my house are looking very shabby at
the moment, they are dirty, oil stained and are full of weeds and moss. What difference would your cleaning
service make to these areas ?
Answer 1
: Firstly let me explain about the
system we use. We use engine driven machines which produce high pressure water that is sprayed from jets in various
application tools ( Up to 3500 psi: 240 bar ). We do not usually use any chemicals in this type of cleaning, except
on oil spillage's and such. This means that your shrubs and flowers in the garden will be perfectly
safe.
Using this system on
block paving would; 1: clean the blocks 2: remove all weeds and moss from the joints. Whilst removing the
moss, some of the sand from between the blocks would be removed also, however we can re-sand them for you or you
can choose to do it yourself. The restored block paving will look like new again and enhance the look of your
property, ( especially if you are selling it ). See photo section
Question 2 :
I am the manager of a retirement complex and we have a
particular problem with the paved patio areas and paths which have a lot of green growth on them which is
very slippery. This is a big Health and Safety issue for us as we are concerned for the safety of our
residents. Can you cure this problem ?
Answer 2 :
You are in a very familiar situation to a lot of our
clients, who need to be sure of the safety of anyone using the patios and paths of this type of
building. Another very serious danger area are steps. We can indeed help you by removing
wintergreen and moss to make these areas perfectly safe again, without much trouble and indeed, far cheaper
than any litigation you may face should someone slip and break a limb.
Question 3 :
Is your system suitable to use on
wood as well as stone, brick and concrete, as we have some decking and outdoor furniture that has gone green and
has quite a lot of bird-lime spots on it. ?
Answer 3 :
Yes we can clean wood with this system. It is simply a matter of reducing the pressure and
washing it down. Once cleaned, it can be treated with specialist stains or preservative to bring it back to
its former glory.
